 At Wanganui Girls' College, with our small class sizes and focus on individual students we provide a quality learning environment. We continue to offer our senior students the full range of academic subjects to enable them to prepare for university, further study or the world of work.
Empowering young women to take their place in the world is also important to us and our school structures and strong school spirit assist with the development of confident, mature students who are successful in whatever they choose to do.
Our welcoming, safe, secure hostel facilities provided at our "Ad Astra Hostel" continues to be a strength of the college. With pleasant grounds and trained staff a caring home away from home is provided.
From Swimming Sports, Stage Challenge participation, House events, Athletics Sports and Academic League activities to our great facilities - two gymnasia, several computer suites, a swimming pool and state of the art Technology facilities, we truly do provide "High Quality Education with Strong School Spirit"
