Photography in Year 12
Students will cover the practical and technical skills of photography. This involves research and development of ideas, camera handling and darkroom skills. Wet and digital photography is explored and students are encouraged to enter an externally moderated folio after they gain their initial 18 credits.
Photography in Year 13
Level three NCEA Photography is a one year course where students will cover practical and technical skills in wet and digital photography, to develop and extend ideas towards a folio. It is essentially an individually fashioned student directed and teacher supervised course. The first term contains practical assignments. During the second term students extend and refine their camera handling, dark room skills and computer manipulating skills.
